Now is the best time to raise finance
Article Abstract:
North east England has seen the decline of heavy industry and opportunities in retailing, new technology and manufacturing. The region has benefited from inward investment and companies need to tap markets outside the northeast in order to grow. Companies needing capital to expand are often faced with fears over loss of ownership. Professionals need to emphasise that it is preferable to own a part share in a success story than the whole of a company which is not achieving its potential.
