Bust today, back tomorrow: pre-packaged bankruptcies

Many companies seeking protection from creditors are opting for what is known as pre-packaged bankruptcies as opposed to the traditional Chapter 11 proceedings. With pre-packs a deal with creditors is worked out beforehand, making it almost certain the company will survive.
