Article Abstract:
Canadian Helicopter Corporation or CHC has divested 80% of its repair and overhaul operation, following the creation of its new subsidiary, called Vector Aerospace Corporation. The Vector subsidiary include Acro Aerospace of Vancouver, Atlantic Turbines of Summerside, PEI and Hunting Airmotive in the UK. The company was supposed to sell its repair and overhaul business to CHC Maintenance Trust Income Fund in 1997 due to volatile capital markets.
