Benoy to banish Bull Ring blight from Birmingham
Article Abstract:
Hammerson, a developer, is hoping to secure outline planning permission to demolish the Bull Ring Centre in Birmingham, as part of a redevelopment schemed designed by architect Benoy. The redevelopment will link the city's inner ring road, the town centre and prime retail areas, with a new pedestrian bridge, continuing the process of pedestrianization. The Bull Ring Centre will be replaced with a centre on three levels, based around streets, squares and building, and a new public square will be created.
