Can Granville go the distance?
Article Abstract:
Granville Holdings is a UK investment banker which specialises in small and medium firms, rather than attempting to compete with large investment banks on major projects. The bank reported an operating profit of 1.37 million pounds sterling with a 12.7 million pounds sterling turnover for the 12 months to Mar 1994. Granville has received offers for a takeover and could be of interest to a foreign buyer seeking to enter the UK financial market. Granville may survive the 1990s better than other investment banks which have sought to compete in international markets.

How Granville can help you unbundle
Article Abstract:
Investment bank Granville and Co saw very positive developments in 1996, having managed to complete a number of transactions. These included the flotation of Deltron Electronic and of FI Group and a second stage buyout of Barrett Steel. It has become particularly involved in 'unbundling' work, assisting companies in focusing on their core activities and moving away from non-core activities. It regards unbundling as a valuable way of achieving shareholder value.
