Capturing decision maker preference: experimental comparison of decision analysis and MCDM techniques
Article Abstract:
Preference in decision making under certainty with multiple conflicting objectives and continuous decision variables is investigated. Decision analysis and optimization principles are used as basis for formulating techniques for solving such problems. The SMART technique is based on decision analysis, while the NAIVE and Zionts-Wallenius techniques are based on optimization.
