Kraft Canada and Kellogg Canada have launched line extensions on on key brands. Kraft launched Post Maple Crunch Shreddies with a patriotic teaser campaign. Billboards display the Canadian flag with a Shreddies in place of the red maple leaf. Kraft's Post Shreddies add were created by BBDO Canada. Kellogg Canada has introduced Special K Fibre only available in Canada. It is the first Special K line extension in the world. It was developed for health conscious consumers looking for Special K's light taste but with an added fibre punch. Kellogg has also introduced Honey Crunch Corn Flakes with a television campaign by J.Walter Thompson Toronto.

Kodak touts photo-specialty store network

Kodak Canada Inc., based in Toronto, Canada, has launched its first TV campaign promoting its network of specialty stores, a move reflecting its renewed focus on its retail business. The network is comprised of 320 independently-owned photo specialty stores using the Kodak Image Check banner and wordmark. The stores also receive product training and ad support from Kodak Canada. The TV spots were developed by Radke Films and Gingko Ltd. Kodak Canada Marketing Communications Planner said that the firm is targeting people who develop between four to six rolls of film annually.

The Media Edge was the award-winning agency to bring Kool-Aid, VIA Rail Canada, YTV, Kidsworld Magazine and TV Guide together in a campaign that won over not just kids, but moms, too. Kool-Aid sales resulted and kids learned how the railroad impacted their country's development. The campaign won Best of Show at Marketing Magazine's Media Innovation Awards.
