Changing things so everything stays the same
Article Abstract:
Guiseppe Tomasi di Lampudesa was the author of 'The Leopard', a book which was criticised on a number of counts when it first appeared, but which has since been acclaimed and made into a movie. Lampudesa was an amateur writer who influenced a number of professionals such as Isabel Allende. He was fond of the English language and used references to English literature. His work 'The Leopard' is seen as providing an early portrayal of a Mafioso, which helps in understanding Sicily.
