China needs supply-side reforms
Article Abstract:
China should refocus its economic policy on private enterprises because these businesses will serve as the engine of China's continued economic growth. Despite the significant growth of private business enterprises in China, little support has been given its way by the government. This can be attributed to the country's ideology and political will. Under the old command economy, the state economy and the government were the same entity. However, in a private economy, China should help the private sector through financing and upgrading of state banks in terms of credit analysis.
