TV rivals could launch joint ad
Article Abstract:
MTV Asia is enjoining other pay-television channels to fund a joint advertising campaign to boost awareness of the medium among advertisers and consumers. MTV Asia president Frank Brown said a joint campaign and cross-promotion with rivals such as Channel V will result in a more efficient use of their respective marketing budgets. A collaboration will also present a united front against terrestrial services, which have cornered most of the advertising revenues in the region.
