RTM322 passes NH90 test
Article Abstract:
A production standard RTM322 engine has passed the overtemperature test, performed under JAR (E) supervision, for qualification in the NH90 program. The test was run at the engine's 30-second OEI rating of 2,106 kW. The successful completion of the test is an important step towards its certification in the European battlefield transport/ship-borne machine. The RTM322-01/9 variant was chosen in 2000 to power the NH90 fleets of Germany, the Netherlands and France.
