Delays on SH-2G tactical system
Article Abstract:
Initial deliveries of the Royal Australian Navy's SH-2G(A) Super Seasprite helicopters will be equipped with only a basic operating system because of problems with systems integration. Litton Industries was contracted to provide the integrated tactical weapons, data control and navigation systems for the 11 SH-2G(A) helicopters on order for Australia. It has reportedly been struggling for some time with the project. The SH-2G(A) system is not expected to be fully operational until early 2003.
