Cod 'fished too hard' - ICES
Article Abstract:
According to the reports from International Council for the Exploration of the Seas, the stocks of herring off the west coast of Scotland and in the North Sea are not a cause of concern as of now. However, the stocks of cod do not look very promising. The report highlights the need to reduce fishing of cod to sustain the cod populations.
