Betty Crocker debuts cookies, spuds

General Mills Canada followed its Betty Crocker instant potatoes launch with TV ads and sampling for BC's cookie mix. The company claims the cookies taste like freshly-baked. The campaign is the first from Cossette Communication-Marketing which won the creative account for GM in May. Canada is felt to be an undeveloped market for both products.
