Household electronics manufacturers unveiled their new products at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV, from Jan 6 to Jan 9, 2001. The three keynote speeches centered on a possible revolution in the computer world. Palm CEO Carl Yankowski thinks that the Internet is calling for wearable computers. Microsoft Chmn Bill Gates and Intel CEO Craig Barrett are in agreement that the personal computer is alive and well.

Markham, Ontario-based Robin Hood Multifoods has launched a Web initiative that is aimed at home bakers who use its brand of flour. Ogilvy and Mather's interactive division has created the Web site in English andFrench on Feb 13, 2001. The site features hundreds of searchable recipes and a baker's forum to exchange baking tips, create an online recipe box and e-mail recipes to friends.
