Article Abstract:
The economic implications of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) are discussed. The economic growth forecasts, employment, salaries, tourism collections, and hotel occupancies have been on the decline, since the outbreak. If the epidemic is severe, China will have to face serious economic consequences.
