Credit Suisse Group, the largest bank in Switzerland, said that it will purchase investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette Inc. for $115.5 billion (Euro$12.89 billion) in cash and stock, in an attempt to push its investment banking unit, Credit Suisse First Boston, into the U.S. top bracket.
