The Federal Reserve Board is watching the dollar drop and interest rates fall and is not doing much to stop it. The low dollar exchange rate could lead to inflation. The Bush Administration feels that low interest rates are good for the the economy.

The US dollar has grown increasingly weak, and recent administrations have taken no serious steps to control inflation and devaluation. This is a mistake, because the dollar is the world's reserve currency.
