Cut throat market
Article Abstract:
Editora Perfil has unveiled its first national daily newspaper Perfil after turning out magazines first. Editora Perfil co-owner Jorge Fontevecchia invested $30 million into the full-colour daily periodical's creation. The magazine publisher's officials noted that Perfil is securing 50,000 in target sales. Editora Perfil associate editor Andres Wolberg-Stock justified the price of investment with the need for control on the editorial and industrial aspects of Perfil. Still, Editora Perfil staffers believe that they need to work harder despite Perfil's initial success.
