Article Abstract:
The research centre at Horsholm in Denmark is investing DKr500 million in the next three years, of which DKr240 million will be used next year to build new laboratories and offices for three biotechnology companies: Pharmexa, 7TM Pharma and Exiqon. The dynamic environment in the Nordsjalland region means that several biotechnology companies are waiting in line to enter the research centre. According to Preben Pamsgaard, director of the research centre at Horsholm, the centre will be fully developed within five to six years if the investments keep up at this pace.
