DENMARK: RTX TELECOM TO DEVELOP MOBILE PHONES
Article Abstract:
The Danish company RTX Telecom is to begin developing mobile terminals, according to the GSM and UTMS standards, and solutions for wire datacommunications (Blue Tooth). The company is likely to co-operate with clients in the R&D work. In the next 12-18 months, MD Jorgen Fink Elbaek expects doubling staffing levels to about 200 employees. Until now, the company has concentrated on wireless phones according to the DECT standard, but Jorgen Fink Elbaek says it's important to diversify operations.
