Denmark: PFA maintains yield
Article Abstract:
PFA Pension has decided not to lower customers' return on capital from 8.5 to 4.5 per cent after all. PFA has been under severe pressure from customers to change its decision. The increase on the stock market has also influenced PFA's decision to maintain customers' yield. PFA has not yet found a foreign investor to give the company the necessary financial boost. Chief executive Henrik Heideby, PFA, says that the company never intended to take money from customers. However, the decision to maintain the interest rate has been taken with insecurity, since PFA is still very sensitive to new events.

DENMARK: SHORTAGE OF INVESTMENT OBJECTS
Article Abstract:
Owing to shortage of investment objects, Danish pension companies are not able to live up to the goal that about 10% of assets should be invested in properties. In the last five years, properties' share of their portfolios has been reduced to 5.6% from 7.4%. Tonny Nielsen, head of property investments at the pension fund Magistrenes Pensionskasse, says it can take many years after a decision about property investments has been taken until the objects are found.
