DENMARK:NEG MICON TO FOCUS ON THE ITALIAN MARKET

NEG Micon, the Danish wind-power station producer, aims to boost its market share in the Italian market and expects Italy to become its core market in the course of the next few years. According to CEO Torben Bjerre-Madsen, the company is in the process of setting up service organization in Italy. It has also secured rights to develop a number of projects in the country.

DENMARK:NEG MICON RECEIVES CONTRACT FROM JYSK VINDKRAFT

NEG Micon has received a contract for 25 NM72/2000 wind power stations from Jysk Vindkraft. The contract is valued at some DKr275mn. The wind power stations, that are to be set up in Mariager Fjord, have a combined capacity of 50MW and supply electricity to 25,000 households in Denmark. This makes it the biggest land-based wind power park in Denmark.

Denmark: NEG Micon develops two new wind power units

NEG Micon, the Danish wind-power station maker, has designed two new types of wind-power stations. These stations are suited for both off-shore and on-shore conditions. The new stations will be presented at the Windtech Husum fair to be held in Germany on 18-22 September.
