DENMARK: PHONIX TAG TO BE SOLD OFF
Article Abstract:
The Norwegian group Rieber & Son is to sell off Phonix Tag, the roofing materials division of the Danish company Phonix Contractors. Director Olav Daviknes of Phonix Contractors says negotiations have been carried out with several potential buyers, and adds that a decision will be taken in the first quarter of 2000. According to the paper, the most likely buyer is the Swedish group Trelleborg. Another potential buyer might be Isola, the minor Norwegian roofing material company.
