US: SEPHORA PRESENTS INTERNET SITE

Sephora wants to use the Internet as a tool to develop the customer loyalty in the US, through attracting its regular customers with the new service. The US-based luxury cosmetics and fragrances distribution network has set up Sephora.com, a new Web site which offers the same range (250 brands) as in Sephora's boutiques. The new site will be available to the US consumers only, as the marketing legislation is very tough in Europe. Sephora is part of the LVMH group.
