DENMARK: TOPSIL'S RESULTS FOR 2000
Article Abstract:
Topsil, the Danish semiconductor maker, reports a loss after tax of DKr32.4mn (US$3.9mn) in 2000 vs. a loss of DKr37.6mn in 1999. Turnover climbed from DKr64.1mn to DKr116.8mn. Despite the small improvement for Topsil's profits the company's future prospects seem bright due to an anticipated increase in the demand for FZ-printers. FZ silicon is Topsil's most important product and it has a 3% share of the global market for FZ silicon.
