Denmark: Railion to extend the Jylland-Sjalland route
Article Abstract:
Railion, former DSB Gods, is to extend its cargo route between Jylland (Jutland) and Sjalland (Zealand) by 50%. Railion believes Mols-Linien's hesitance about extending the cargo route between Arhus and Kalundborg will benefit it. Railion sales manager Anne-Lise Bach Sorensen says he is certain that there will be demand for Railion's service between Arhus and Hoje Taastrup as Mols-Linien fails to extend its cargo route. Mols-Linien, however, will make a counter-move in April 2002 when the shipping company, according to MD Preben Wolff, gets its new terminal in the port of Arhus.
