Nabisco has repositioned its Barnum's Animal Crackers brand. The packaging on-shelf was redesigned, with Barnum being touted as an explorer. The brand repositioning came as an opportunity to re-identify its target market, understand the insights of that market and capitalize on an underdeveloped opportunity. The result of the repackaging was revolutionary in that the package has won many first-place packaging design awards.

Imperial opens smokers' lounges
Article Abstract:
Imperial Tobacco Canada is offering smokers a break from their usual doorways and sidewalks with an outdoor lounge in downtown Toronto, Ontario. The courtyard lounge provides seats, tables, magazines and newspapers, TV sets and music, and free coffee or tea for people on a smoking break. The lounge also includes a kiosk selling the company's new brand, Matinee Ultra Mild.
