Full-year 2007 net profit for French food firm DANONE Group tripled to 4.18 bil euro, due in part to a gain of 3.1 bil euro from its cookies division sale to Kraft Foods Inc. Revenue increased to 12.77 bil euro, with 12% growth in sales for the fresh-dairy business.
