Decision-aid for discrete multiple criteria decision making problems with imprecise data
Article Abstract:
Techniques for helping decision making with a discrete set of alternatives are presented. In decision situations where it is not feasible to get explicit preference data from the decision makers, it is suggested that useful decision-aid can be given to the decision makers by describing what kind of weighting of the criteria result in certain choices of the alternatives. This is based on the basic concepts of the ELECTRE III method. The modelling of the preferences by pseudo-criteria is particularly useful in case the data are imprecise.

Solving multiple criteria choice problems by interactive trichotomy segmentation
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to characterize a methodology for multiple criteria choice problems supporting a large set of alternatives. The methodology can be integrated between methods with a priori specification of the decision maker's partialities and interactive processes. It also correlates preferences of the decision maker against a reference profile using outranking relation. In addition, the method supports the presentation of non-dominated points to decision makers.

Multiple-criteria robust interactive decision analysis (MCRID) for optimizing public policies
Article Abstract:
Decision support systems (DSS) are often used in the formulation of public policy. However, conventional DSSs place a heavy assessment problem on the decision-maker. Multiple-criteria robust interactive decision analysis (MCRID) avoids this problem and allows the expresion of preferences for actions, partial and full decision functions and probability and function assessments. The MCRID concept eliminates a large part of the inaccuracy present in conventional DSSs.
