Operational research methods were employed to construct a food nutrition objective system and optimized models of food nutrition structure for the inhabitants of Jiangnan, China. PAC-learning a decision tree with pruning
Article Abstract:
A new pruning algorithm based on the rank of a decision tree was developed to determine to what extent pruning improves the accuracy of an inductively learned concept. Consequently, a bound on the pruning error was determined and integrated into probably approximately correct (PAC) learning theory to obtain a sample size 'for PAC identification of decision trees with pruning.'
