Denmark: Analysts anticipate negative growth

The economic forecast conducted by Greens Analyseinstitut in Denmark on behalf of Borsen, the finance daily, shows that the Danish economy is heading for a recession. The survey, conducted in the days following the US terror attack, involved 620 large and medium-sized companies. The companies were asked about their expectations for the rest of the year.

Denmark: Proposal to remove tax on organic insecticides

In Denmark, the majority of non-government parties is in favour of abolishing the tax on organic insecticides in order to make people opt for organic insecticides instead of conventional ones. The present tax on insecticides in Denmark is 37% irrespective of the toxicity level of the product.
