Bekaert Handling, a company in the Axcel group that manufactures rollcontainers used in the car-industry, garden markets and retail trade, expands. Demand for the containers produced by the company increases now in the times of crisis when other companies want to rationalize their logistics. The company has about 800 employees and a turnover of about DKr700mn (US$84mn). The company has decided to expand the production in Danish Middelfart by 15 percent and to achieve this the company has invested in a new storage facility of 35000 square metre indoors and another 80 000 outdoors. The company expects a yearly increase of the business by 10 percent and also expects to employ more people.

Swedish clothing retailer H&M has awarded Danish construction company Sjaelso Gruppen a contract including the construction of H&M[acute accent]s new distribution center in Greve, Denmark. The warehouse area will total 27 000 square meters. The contract is valued at DKr 100mn (US$ 13mn).
