Denmark is one of the few countries within the EU that reports an increase in industrial production in a Eurostat survey. The latest figures show that industrial production in Denmark rose by 0.2% in the September-October period and 0.5% year-on-year. Within the EU as a whole industrial production dropped by 1.3% between October 2000 and October 2001.
