Denmark: Restructuring at Amcor in Denmark
Article Abstract:
Amcor Flexible Denmark's restructuring plans would entail closing a unit in Lyngby, which would affect 150 of the 260 jobs. The company, which is 25%-owned by Danisco, announced in September that it will close down four factories in Europe and reduce production in its other European units. Amcor Flexible was created through a joint venture between Danisco Flexible, Amcor and Akerlund & Rausing.

DENMARK: AARHUS OLIEFABRIK'S SHARE PRICE UP 30%
Article Abstract:
Aarhus Oliefabrik has seen its share price climb 30% following a two-year downturn. The management of Aarhus Olie ascribes this to the 40-50% price hike of palm oil during July following a disappointing soy/rape seed harvest in the USA. At the same time, interest in old-economy shares has perked up following the losses suffered by the IT industry.
