DENMARK: NEW SERVICE PROVIDERS ON TELECOM MARKET
Article Abstract:
About 15 new telecom operators are about to be established in Denmark. These are companies which operate in entirely different sectors, such as e.g. DLG, the animal feed company; LIC, the purchase center of Danish schools; Den Lokale Andel, which is another company in the agricultural sector; and the trading company Kai Dige Bach. All of them are so-called service providers, which use their client data bases to sell services which they themselves purchase from Tele Danmark at discount rates.

DENMARK: CODAN'S UNIT LINK LAUNCH POSTPONED
Article Abstract:
Codan's launch of unit link products on the Danish market has been further postponed; director Per Klitgaard Poulsen now says the launch will take place in a few months' time, not in September as previously planned. Reasons behind the postponement are the co-operation with the Swedish financial group SEB, which means the unit link concept might be adjusted, and the fact that two key employees at Codan, responsible for the development of the products, have resigned.
