Denmark:Arla welcomes Danish milk farmers to Poland

Arla Foods, the Swedish-Danish dairy giant, welcomes Danish milk farmers to Poland and the UK referring to the plans expressed by Danish farmers to leave Denmark due to the Danish restrictions and regulations for milk farmers. Arla Foods information manager Peter Kjelstrup says it would be a great idea as Arla Foods owns dairy units in Poland and the UK. Besides, Danish milk farmers are already acquainted with Arla's systems and regulations.

DENMARK: ARLA PAYS EXTRA BONUS TO MILK PRODUCERS

Arla Foods, the Swedish-Danish dairy giant, has pledged to give an extra payment of DKr0.03 per kilo of milk to the 16,000 milk farmers in Sweden and Denmark. Head of the Danish Association of Milk Producers is not impressed with Arla's offer.
