Disney sets $7.4 billion Pixar deal

Walt Disney Co. of the United States has acquired Pixar Animation Studios also of the United States for $7.4 billion. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs owns 50.6 percent of Pixar stocks and will become a key advisor to Walt Disney Co. The Mouse House shares are up 1.8 percent to $25.99.
