Advertising agencies are preparing for the launching of Viagra in Canada. Although the treatment for erectile dysfunction will have the same advertising and PR approach throughout the world, its Canadian launch will feature unique features. One is a hologram on the drug's packaging showing its authenticity as a product of Pfizer Canada Inc. Another is its packaging format which comes in four or eight tablets as oppose to the bottle format used in the US

Rewards elude rebranded retailers
Article Abstract:
Canadian retailers' renewed advertising and promotions in 1998 have not totally resulted in success for the individual businesses. Jim Okamura of JC Williams Group of Toronto, assessed that it may still take a longer time before the success of the new marketing plans has worked for the retailers. Okamura added that the most positive impact was felt by unisex retailers, while department stores had a harder time during the year.
