EU leans toward Nokia for mobile-TV standard

The European Union has announced its support for a standard drawn from Nokia Corp.'s technology for use in mobile television broadcasting throughout Europe. The DVB-H standard was selected over South Korea's T-DMB and Qualcomm Inc.'s MediaFlo, as it is more prevalent than the latter two.
