Economical and ecological utility oriented analysis of the process of anaerobic digestion of waste waters
Article Abstract:
The multiattribute utility theory offers an efficient solution to the creation of criteria adequate to characterize the complexity of ecological analysis of the processes of anaerobic digestion of waste waters from livestock farms. A logically and operationally proven approach, which incorporates value in complex ecological problems, is offered by the multiattribute utility theory and the proposed algorithms. The constructed utility functions that describe the value estimations of the decision maker can be used for automatic computer control and monitoring of anaerobic waste water digestion.

Evaluating naval tactical missile systems by fuzzy AHP based on the grade value of membership function
Article Abstract:
A novel algorithm for evaluating naval tactical missile systems using the fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) based on grade value of membership function is introduced. Membership functions of judgment criteria for all sub-items are built and the grade value calculated by data of missile performance to derive performance scores. Aggregate weights are computed using fuzzy AHP method and entropy concepts. A systematic and practical program for the calculation of all algorithms is developed and the new algorithm applied to a naval tactical missile systems valuation and selection problem.

A simulation-based evaluation of the approximate and the exact eigenvector methods employed in AHP
Article Abstract:
The performance of the approximate eigenvector (AEV) method and the exact eigenvector method (EEV) of solving Analytic Hierarchy Process models of multiple criteria decision making problems was compared. Specifically, simulations were carried out based on the idea of estimating a continuous pairwise comparison matrix by its closest discretized pairwise comparison matrix. The results indicated the superiority of the EEV method over the AEV for computing priority vectors.
