Article Abstract:
The global phenomenon of privatization has arisen because the alternatives cause failure and disappointment. Privatization allows for private sector investment in previously monopolistic entities which then become competitive and have the ability to generate revenue in the form of taxes and encourage greater participation in a free-market economy.
