FRANCE: ALCATEL PRESENTS CALL CENTRE SOLUTION

Article Abstract:

Alcatel has presented OmniTouch, an integrated call centre solution which comes with seven main elements including CCWeb, which allows to call back an Internet user through combining voice over IP and browsing on the Web site's pages. CCemail handles the e-mail, while CCDistribution is in charge of distributing multimedia calls. CCSupervision performs a real time control over calls, and generates reports and statistics. CCivr helps identifying the calling party, while CCAgent helps develop applications. Last but not least, the CCAgent Server element, which complies with CSTA standards, is the computing and telephone server. OmniTouch is part of Alcatel's Unix communication platform, OmniPCX 440 (voice over IP).

FRANCE: CONSORT NT GETS FM CONTRACT FROM 9 TELECOM

Article Abstract:

9 Telecom has signed an office automation facilities management contract with Consort NT. The latter will handle the support, management and administration of 1,000 machines running under Windows NT in two sites in the Paris area and eight regional units . Consort NT will handle the management of NT accounts, messaging, server maintenance, etc. as part of this three-year FM contract.
