FRANCE: IFM MAKES AWARD TO CANDIA FOR EOLE

The French Merchandising Institute (IFM) award Candia its Golden Metre for its new Eole merchandising concept. Candia's approach marks a break with the department's industrial organisation and resulted in a 4.6% rise in volume and an 8.3% rise in value after being implemented for three months. It stimulated sales of added value milk, and of fresh milk, which rose 3.4%.

Candia has introduced Silhouette Saveur Legere, a line of soft drinks with milk. It comes in two versions: with natural lemon extract, and with mint. These products have a guaranteed vitamin B, C and PP content and come in packs of four 50 cl bottles priced at FFr 16.50.
