On the dry milk segment, Regilait is now the only operator. It has launched Voile de Lait (30 pre-measured sachets of milk, and now it is going to boost Vitalite, its skim dry milk with guaranteed vitamin content. Nestle dominates the concentrated milk segment, and now is positioning its non-sweetened concentrated milk as a cooking ingredient by offering recipe ideas on cans of Gloria milk. Nestle is reserving the sweetened milk as a snack for children and adolescents. It carried out a major merchandising study and now recommends putting all industrial milk in the UHT (ultra high temperature) milk section, unlike Regilait which experimented with the UHT section, but now prefers to put its product in the breakfast food section.
