The Museum of Modern Art plans to honor the work of legendary French actress Jeanne Moreau in 1993. Cinematique Suisse in Lausanne, Switzerland has already given Moreau's films a retrospective exhibition. Moreau's career is profiled, with emphasis on her performance in Francois Truffaut's 'Jules et Jim.'

Calment died on Aug 4, 1997, at the age of 122. Before her death, she had frequently been interviewed by journalists about her life and secrets to longevity. She attributed her long life to olive oil and French wine. Both her parents lived to be quiet old also.
