Clinton's popularity will not drop tremendously during autumn, as what happened to Democratic presidential candidate Michael Dukakis in 1988. Clinton has begun to campaign early to win the support of minority and blue-collar voters, and supporters of H. Ross Perot seem to favor Clinton over Bush.
