Freeze frame: a 'Marketing'-Nielsen Media update on television
Article Abstract:
A survey done by Nielsen Media and trade journal 'Marketing' shows that women aged 35 years to 49 in Toronto watch similar TV shows, as with other women in the rest of Canada. However, some programs that rated high with women did not land among the top five shows for all adults. Among these are 'Mr Bean's Christmas,' 'Paid Programming,' 'Bob and Margaret,' 'NewsRadio,' and 'Behind the Laughs.' Less than six shows registered more than 1 million viewers, with 'Caserne 24' getting the highest rating.
