Frozen foods in Germany

A large percentage of German imports of frozen foods goes to institutional and catering companies rather than grocery stores. Imports exceed exports, except for frozen fish. Included are figures on consumer preferences for frozen prepared foods, poultry and fish.

More frozen food was imported than exported by France in 2000. Exports of ice cream decreased in 2000. Statistics are included for exports and imports of frozen foods including fruits, vegetables, fish and other seafood, and ice cream.
