GLA in Olympic planning furore
Article Abstract:
Greater London Authority (GLA) handling London's 2012 Olympic Games are misusing the planning and Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) systems and have been accused with snapping lands which could freeze regeneration and reduce land values. Policies like Leaside Area Action Plan (AAP) are being questioned because they are likely to hamper development in the areas around the Games.

Which way now for Park Hill?
Article Abstract:
The estate of Park Hill is seen to be a vast concrete forest, which does not blend with the rest of the city. Plans to transform the estate into a pleasing structure need acceptance of a doubtful and discerning public.
